The Steading
The Steading Café was established in June 2008 reflecting our love of good home made food and our concerns for the environment.
The café is situated in a relaxed rural setting and places its emphasis on ethically sourced products, using local producers and fair trade goods wherever possible. Eggs are free range, meat is free range/outdoor reared and many of our ingredients are organic.
Freshly cooked lunch dishes are available each day, including vegetarian and vegan options, plus a mouth-watering array of home baking. Food is freshly cooked to order and, although it takes a little more time, customer feedback confirms the results to be worth waiting for.
The country store offers our own bread and bakes for sale and a range of garden gifts, country wear and accessories as well as paintings and crafts by local artists.
